Most Wonderful Time of the Year at Lighthouse Preschool

by | Dec 16, 2022 | Holidays

It’s the hap-happiest season of all! 2022 has zipped along to the end in the blink of an eye. This is the time of year we pause and reflect on everything we’ve discussed on our blog. Whether you’re a new or returning family, this is a great way for you to learn more about what we do.

It’s the most wonderful time of the year, and we can’t help but reminisce over everything we’ve discussed together! Celebrate the holiday season with Lighthouse School! Click To Tweet

This year, we’ve had the opportunity to discuss a variety of topics related to our school programs. These topics have included:

  • Development Boosting Games for Toddlers
  • Private Kindergarten vs. Public Kindergarten
  • Establishing Familiar Routines

Development Boosting Games for Toddlers

We’ll always be happy to share our ideas on engaging activities and development-boosting games for your little ones. From dancing to their favorite music to playing imaginative games like hide and seek, each activity for toddlers we cover encourages skill development.

Private Kindergarten vs. Public Kindergarten

It’s important to us at Lighthouse School of Excellence that we shed light on what makes private kindergarten a great place for your young children to learn and grow. Learn more about the differences between private and public kindergarten on our blog. You may be surprised!

Establishing Familiar Routines

Routines are complicated for families with young children, but there are steps you can take as a parent to assist your preschooler. Going to bed and waking up at the same time, handling separation anxiety early on, and having a scheduled playtime are great places to start. Establishing a familiar routine with your toddler means less stress for everyone.

Happy Holidays from Lighthouse School!

If there’s one thing we’re celebrating this holiday season, it’s you – our students and their families. As we near the end of the year, we’re grateful for your continued support and look forward to all that is to come. Happy Holidays from our family to yours!
